Royal Caribbean International’s new Coco Beach Club on the line’s private island destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas, has welcomed its first guests. The opening marks the completion of the US$250m (€226) transformation – and phase one – of Perfect Day at CocoCay. The exclusive beach club touts the first floating cabanas in The Bahamas, an ocean-front infinity pool, beach cabanas, a dedicated restaurant and a bar. Two new beaches – Breezy Bay at Chill Island and South Beach – are open to all guests on the island.
The 20 floating cabanas at the Coco Beach Club are the first of their kind in The Bahamas. Each features a private slide into the ocean, overwater hammock, dining area, freshwater shower, wet bar and ocean vistas. Guests can also choose from 10 beach cabanas onshore. All cabanas in Coco Beach Club accommodate up to eight guests and feature loungers, a dining area, charging outlets, a mini fridge, snorkel gear and a dedicated cabana attendant.
