Aerofloor has been serving the aviation industry since 1983, becoming a worldwide supplier of floorings and soft furnishings.
The company holds extensive stock of best-selling products including Aeroclad, along with various colors of Lonseal Loncoin II flooring, which are held at Aerofloor’s warehouse in readiness for immediate dispatch.
With climate change a current hot topic, Aerofloor is able to play its part by helping to reduce its carbon footprint, and in turn the end user’s, by offering lightweight flooring. With weight being such a key matter within the aviation industry, reducing the weight of the flooring can have an effect on running costs, fuel consumption and more importantly the aircraft’s CO2 emissions. Many of the NTF floorings, such as Aeroclad and Lonseal Loncoin II, are available as lightweight alternatives to the heavier floorings that are installed on many of the aircraft still in service. Both these floorings are light and flexible and continue to be extremely popular with customers. Since the introduction of Aeroclad in the early 1990s, the product continues to be one of the company’s main sellers and shows no signs of slowing down. The 8ft-wide version of the Lonseal Loncoin II tends to be favored by those operating single-aisle aircraft, as it eliminates seams and joints. Many aircraft are undergoing retrofit and the interiors are being replaced with more favorable eco-friendly alternatives.
In late 2016, Aerofloor launched a new website, www.aerofloor.com, which offers a wealth of information on the products that it supplies, along with all their technical information. The site has been well-received by customers, who have expressed that it is far easier to navigate and find what they are looking for.
Since the new website was launched, the company has been regularly adding new items so that it can offer customers products including aircraft seating foams, Moore & Giles leather, lambskins and seating textiles.
Aerofloor prides itself on offering solutions and products for VIP business jets, helicopter operators, commercial airlines and private aircraft owners, whether they are only looking to recover a slightly worse-for-wear seat or carry out an entire interior refurbishment. The company is committed to its existing product lines, but to also moving with the times and seeking out and expanding with new products to offer. Aerofloor has never imposed large minimum order quantities on customers and it has always been its objective to serve everyone in the aircraft industry, regardless of the size of the company.
