Royal Caribbean International has revealed details of its new Summer 2021 European tours with 70% new itineraries that feature a new mix of destinations on seven ships.
The Quantum-class ship Anthem of the Seas will return to Southampton, the UK, for a second consecutive year and offer a variety of itineraries that include new ports of call in Denmark, France and Norway.
The 7-14-night cruises to Norway will include a new port of call, Stavanger, where guests can hike the 1,969ft (600m)-tall Preacher’s Pulpit for dramatic views, or embark on a fjord safari. The ship will also stop at Copenhagen, Denmark, and at Aarhus, Denmark’s second largest city. In France, the ship will sail to Bordeaux. Select sailings will include late-night visits in Paris as well as overnights in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and Lisbon, Portugal.
The Oasis-class ship Harmony will set sail from Barcelona on seven-night cruises to the western Mediterranean that include late nights in Florence/Pisa and Rome, Italy. For guests who wish to start and end their trip in Italy, round-trip sailings from Rome are also available.
Vision of the Seas will offer 12-night Mediterranean itineraries to destinations including the Greek Islands; Kotor, Montenegro; Nice, France; Rome and Florence/Pisa; an overnight in Venice, and late-night calls in Split, Croatia.
Select Jewel of the Seas itineraries from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and visiting the British Isles and the Baltics will include overnights in Edinburgh (S Queensferry), Scotland, and in St Petersburg, Russia; as well as late-night visits in Liverpool, the UK. This will be the first season that a Radiance-class ship calls on Liverpool and Bordeaux. Jewel of the Seas will close out the summer homeported in Barcelona, Spain, offering tours of the Iberian Peninsula and Greek Islands, including visits to Cannes, France, and Athens and Santorini, Greece.
Rhapsody of the Seas will be based in Venice and offer seven-night sailings that alternate between Greece, Croatia, and the Greek Islands, with select late-night calls in Kotor and Santorini.
The Quantum Ultra-class ship Odyssey of the Seas, which is set to debut in November 2020, will visit both Turkey and Greece on numerous itineraries.
Adventure of the Seas will depart from Stockholm and Copenhagen and will offer 7-11-night sailings that feature overnights in St Petersburg and visits to Helsinki, Finland; Tallinn, Estonia; and Visby, Sweden.
